To this day, memories of screening calls for WFUV’s ‘One on One’ sports talk show and accidentally letting the “Baba Booey” calls through to the air give me panic attacks. (Unfortunately, it was Phil Giubileo yelling at me and not Tony Reali.)
Years later I had a chance to tell the actual Baba Booey about the stress the Stern callers caused me in college and his response was, “Yeah, I hear this same story quite a lot.”
