I probably have more memories of the Potato Patch than anywhere else in Kennywood. You’d meet friends there after you broke in to smaller groups. You’d meet your parents there for a ride home at the end of your school’s Kennywood Day. (Once you were old enough to drive yourself to Kennywood Day, you’d meet your younger sibling’s crew there to give them a ride home with your friends.) You’d eat cheese fries while waiting to ride the Thunderbolt.
