Sorry to hear it was a little too limey for you. I usually start with one and then put in more as I need it. I used three since Armando said lots of lime, but these limes were a little older and not as juicy.

Glad to hear you're going to give it another shot though. I really like the roasted garlic in this guacamole.

Turned out overly limey for me, and not hot at all. I took out some of the habanero seeds, but not all. Next time I will start with just 1 lime and work my way up (I used 3 per the picture), and I'll buy more than 1 habanero from the store, just in case.

I'm definitely doing your Chipotle Bacon Pimento Cheese, but I'm having trouble deciding in my #2 dish to bring to the party: your Buffalo Chicken Dip (which is ALWAYS a crowd-pleaser) or your Ancho and Guajillo Chile Chicken Enchilada Dip (I already have both anchos and guajillos in my kitchen, and I was looking for an excuse to use them). What a wonderful dilemma to have!

Shredded pork sandwiches, jalapeno poppers, pizza-stuffed mushrooms, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Miz Naincy's minnercheese, IRON FIST guacamole if I can find avocados suitable for the task, corn salad, and beer floats for dessert. 14 of Doug's coworkers are descending on my house in 29 hours.
Headin' up my folks' for the festivities, and usually, they go all out for Sunday dinner on a normal occasion. They skip it up a notch for the Super Bowl. I may make something to bring up with us, but I wanted to make hummus, and we really don't have much of a food processor to do that. Ah well.

I've already blogged our menu for Sunday, so I'll just list the dishes I'm most excited about:

-<a href="http://www.mybakingaddiction.com/glazed-doughnut-muffins/" rel="nofollow">Krispy Kreme Cupcakes</a>
- and your spicy spinach & pancetta balls (no more sausage balls!!)

I've had those lime sorbet margaritas bookmarked since I first saw them on Pinterest a while back. Such a brilliant idea. Wishing y'all a great party, Sarah!

Yep! That's part of the secret of not breaking the pretzels into pieces that are too small or pulverizing them. The crispy pretzel outside protects the insides.

I am now a complete mess. My stomach is somewhere in the subduction zones at the moment.

Also, my wardrobe choices look rill dumb, don't they? All three of those teams lost the Super Bowl. I'm an idiot.

Go Pats!

As a connisseur of chicken tikka masala, I can verify that this recipe is absolutely stupendous. It's not too spicy, nor sweet. The plain masala with just the naan for "dipping" disappeared and the wraps didn't last much longer. The recipe was also a little easier than I thought it would be for a tikka masala, which now obviously means that I'll be acting glum about Steelers/Pens/Buccos the remainder of the year.

As big as gumbo is in Cajun country, no one wants to serve it when it's 90 degrees out. But jambalaya is served year-round. Every UL tailgate includes about 100 different pots of jambalaya, the biggest being the one prepared by the UL alumni association, cooked in an old sugar kettle.

To your point, jambalaya is relatively easy to make and great for a crowd. It's also pretty inexpensive. And, especially if you use white meat and/or chicken sausage (not recommending this, btw), it's not unhealthy.

Jambalaya gets my vote!
