Just a quick Thursday Night Football dessert suggestion if you are looking for something sweet to finish off the Colts season tonight’s Indianapolis-Tennessee game. Good vanilla ice cream, about an ounce of single malt scotch (it doesn’t have to be the good stuff), and a few turns of the pepper grinder yields a sweet treat which surprisingly tastes of caramel with a slight bite of ground pepper. Delicious.

And if you’re looking for something sweet and white sangria-ish without all the work of cutting up fruit, may I recommend Ike Taylor’s Ike-T to drink?

It’s similar to a tropical sangria a friend of mine makes (assuming Taylor bought white wine), so it really doesn’t sound half bad. Mix the pineapple juice with sparkling white wine, champagne or prosecco and I bet you’d have yourself a nice little party.

H/T to Mike Tunsion, who wrote one of my favorite lines of the week:

The Jaguars can clinch the AFC South if:

God truly loves us and shows it by making the Colts miss the playoffs even in a year when the rest of their division is garbage.

I feel your pain Colts fans. The Steelers’ Super Bowl hangovers in 2006 and 2009 weren’t much fun, (although Pittsburgh actually won the title before spiraling out of the playoffs).
