I rarely let Bry buy “sugar cereal” because, well, they’re not really good for you and they’re expensive. (I myself am always doing things — drinking before lunch, sticking my hand out the window — using the justification, “I’m an adult and can do what I want!” with one exception; Cookie Crisp. For my entire life I’ve longed to try Cookie Crisp cereal, but each time I look at the ingredients I just cannot bring myself to buy a box of it. Can I justify hard drugs, casual sex, gambling and all manner of self-destructive behavior I’ve engaged in? Well no, not really but somehow those were all okay at one time or another and I still have not indulged in my desire for Cookie Crisp.)

Where was I? Oh yes, sugar cereal. Anyway, $1.99 sale price for a box of Honey Smacks and a happy husband (you should see what happens when he’s allowed Oreos) seemed like a steal until the forbidden sugar cereal made Bry’s insides make a move for his outsides.

Turns out, Kellogg’s issued a recall on Honey Smacks, Apple Jacks, Corn Puffs and Fruit Loops.
