I don’t get a chances to talk about the NBA. At least not on a daily basis. First off, I am surrounded by insufferable Laker fans. Are all Laker fans insufferable? Doubtful, but tolerable ones never seem to cross my path. Secondly, my good friend – as I have mentioned a couple of times in the past – is a die-hard Cavs fan. And while we have no few problems managing our Steelers-Browns relationship, our Pistons-Cavs rivalry is never spoken of lest we have a repeat of the 2005 March of the Penguins blow-up or the 2004 Kyoto Protocol /Vivid Girls smackdown.

So please excuse me while I take this moment to yell, “Nine in a row! Nine in a row! The Piston’s come back in the fourth quarter to win nine in a row!”

Don’t Rasheed and Tyronn look cute hugging? Like two puppies on a valentine.

Drama in San Diego when Lloyd Lake (the man who claims to have given Reggie Bush cash and gifts while he was as still a player at USC) walked out of a deposition because Bush’s attorney insisted on having an armed guard present yesterday.

NFL take note – The Premiere League is struggling in their attempts to reach further into the Asian and Australian territories by playing an extra game abroad.

Blatant homerism day continues as we celebrate Malkin’s incredible scoring streak along with his continued progress in mastering the English language.

I get the blatant homerism thing, but Malkin is one ugly bastard.

  2. Did you watch the video? Tell me that is not adorable.

  3. Pam says:

Ok TSW, I suppose it’s kind of cute. Two thoughts on Malkin:
    1. I genuinely do not find him attractive.
    2. I hate him because he scores at will against Marty.

  4. Tuffy says:

How were you to know that Malkin was with the Russians, too?

    Oh. Well, there’s that.

  5. tiff says:

Okay, I cannot wait for the Pistons-Cavs rematch.

Also, can I share with the ladies something completely unrelated but totally adorable? TIGERS SPRING TRAINING PICS, including my favorite: http://flickr.com/photos/hueytaxi/2260364379/

    Swoon! Happy Wednesday, Ladies.

  6. Minda says:

Tiff, Thank you! Even though the Tigers aren’t my team (and in fact they scare the crap out of me nowadays), it is GREAT to say “hellloooo!” to baseball…so thanks for the pictures.

  7. tiff says:

Virgil my Vasquez, indeed. It’s going to be a good summer.

  8. tiff says:

Minda, pictures from Spring Training is the only thing getting me through this horrible winter. And I heard hottie Mike Maroth is trying out for the Royals… luck you if he makes it.

  9. Minda says:

    tiff,
It’s better for me if Maroth and other hotties stay in AAA Omaha, as that is where I live and work! It’s really bad of me to wish that some players don’t make the 40-man, but…well, there are personal benefits if they stay where I am…

I love all the little stories the team websites put out about how ST is going. Most of it is fluff, but it’s a reminder that the season is coming. 47 days to go!

That video is too cute. Aww.

Tiff-thank you for those. It makes me ever so closer to jumping on that bandwagon this season. And I’ll repeat-Aww.
